I’ve Been Holding Back. That Changes Now.
After a year of publishing, here’s what’s coming next — and why it’s the most valuable work I’ve done.
I want to be honest with you about something.
I’ve been publishing here for over a year. Six hundred of you have shown up, subscribed, and stuck around. That means something.
But if I’m being straight — I haven’t fully let it loose yet.
Not because I didn’t have more to give. But because I was still finding my voice here, still figuring out exactly what this publication could be at its best. Still holding back a little.
That changes this week.
Let me tell you who I am.
My name is Tim Davis. I am a baby boomer. I spent thirty years in financial services. I also worked in the motivation field and got to know some of the giants in that industry. I also built a business — and I lost it. I’ve sat across the table from some of the wealthiest people in America and I’ve sat in the wreckage of my own financial collapse.
I’ve been knocked down in ways I didn’t see coming. And I’ve gotten back up every single time.
Not because I’m special. But because over a lifetime of building, losing, studying, and rebuilding — I accumulated something more valuable than money.
I accumulated understanding.
Understanding of how people think about wealth. Why and HOW some build it and keep it and others don’t. What the psychological traps are that nobody talks about. And what it actually takes to operate at a higher level — not just financially, but in every area of life.
That’s what Action Strategies Playbook has always been about. But starting now I’m going deeper than I have before — posts that don’t just give you something to think about but something to do. Immediately. Today.
The real psychology behind money, motivation, mindset and performance — written by someone who has lived it, not just studied it.
And soon something bigger. A full six module program called Building Wealth, Keeping Wealth. What I know about building financial security, protecting it, and thinking about money in a way that actually serves you. I promise it will be information worth your time.
More on that very soon.
This week I’m dropping the most complete piece I’ve written here.
It’s on motivation — the real psychology behind what drives us, why it fails, and how to build the kind that never runs out. It’s research-backed, straight talking, and packed with strategies you can use starting today.
It’s the piece I wish someone had forwarded me thirty years ago.
If you’ve been quietly reading and never quite felt compelled to forward something — this might be the one.
Stay close this week.
The best is yet to come.
— Tim

I absolutely can not WAIT!
